Cialfo helps students find universities and manage their applications, and keeps their counsellors in the loop. The mobile app puts search, saved lists, applications and messages in one place.
The hard part
A student’s choices, application details, tasks and messages are spread over many screens. Each new feature had to keep all of this in sync and fit into the team’s release process.

How the app is built
Built by feature
The app is split into clear parts: university search, lists, direct apply, inbox, meetings and tasks.
Data and server calls
Redux, Redux Saga and Axios manage app data and server calls across these screens.
Working with the team
I built React Native features, worked on application tracking, worked closely with product and design, and helped with mobile releases.
Shipping features with a product team
I built React Native features and application screens with the Cialfo team. This page explains how the wider app works. It does not mean I built every part of it.
